The Bojangles Foundation recently hosted its Second Annual Golf Classic at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Bojangles is proud to announce it raised $430,000 in support of military organizations and education-focused initiatives. More than 170 Bojangles suppliers, franchisees, friends and leaders hit the links, joined by special guests from prominent organizations including Folds of Honor, Children of Fallen Patriots, Veteran Golfers Association and NC Cares.

Celebrity guests included former NBA star Muggsy Bogues, Bassmaster Hall of Famer Guy Eaker, Sr. and hunting and fishing legend O’Neill Williams. For the second consecutive year, franchisee Mark Kiskunas’ team won the tournament with an impressive net score of 55.

“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our Bojangles family for the second year in a row,” said Ken Reynolds, director of corporate and community affairs and executive director of The Bojangles Foundation. “This event not only strengthens our partnerships, but also helps us continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of military families, students and teachers across our footprint.”

Since its inception in 2022, The Bojangles Foundation has donated more than 45,000 books and raised $2.5 million to support nonprofits that focus on education and military family services. These efforts are part of the Foundation’s broader mission to give back to the communities Bojangles serves.

The Bojangles Foundation’s annual grant program is currently accepting applications through Sept. 30. Organizations and individuals that align with the Foundation’s goals of supporting literacy and education are encouraged to apply. To submit a grant application, visit this website.
